THEOLOGY PUB | ||
|
Some of the best conversations occur around a table over a pint of beer. Folks open up, ask deeper questions, listen more intently, speak less defensively and more existentially. Theology Pub is a gathering for discussion of our spiritual questions and searchings. It is more about our questions - and those of others - than about having right answers. It is a gathering for people of diverse perspectives, with respect given and received. Monthly meetings will focus on a topic or a question. The Log Jam (see map below) in Grand Ledge is our intended pub. On the 1st Monday evening of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. it could be our Theology Pub. I am currently looking for input from those who might be interested before setting a start date. Please contact me if that includes you. |

that you drink a beer or that you believe in a definite God; |

Topics and Presenters will come from
those who are curious and willing.
Rick McKenzie is the host. I am a Lutheran pastor, retired from the parish but still full of questions about God and life. Yes, I am a follower of Jesus Christ - the Jesus who listened to and walked with all people. |
